
Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas will be opening its doors for you to see a day in the life of Liberty. On Tuesday, October 27 at 9:00 a.m. to noon, Liberty will be offering guided tours, classroom observations, and informational booths to assist you in getting acquainted with the programs and opportunities available for you and your child.
The Upper School Principal, Ed Cook, of Argyle Liberty Christian School announced on Friday, October 9 that Courtney Zanetti, Melissa Lacy, and Luke Smith have been named Commended Students in the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Liberty Christian School has been awarded the 2008-2009 Henderson Overall Championship Cup of TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools).
Over 120 high school students, staff, and parents traveled to Honduras for a mission trip over Spring Break. Liberty students supported the Hondurans by performing drama presentations at a school in front of about 700 high school students and providing their time and effort on much needed building projects.
We are currently underway with our 2009 Annual Auction. Our Online Auction, E-Liberty, opened on Feb. 12 and will close on March 3.
All young ladies in the 2nd through 6th grade are invited to meet and interact with, on a personal level, the Liberty Christian Dancers. They will build friendships and have fun in a friendly Christian atmosphere.
The LCS Chorale will be singing at the Meyerson Symphony Hall on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 3:00 p.m.
LCS is continuing to collect “Jackets for Jesus” until Monday, December 15. Thank you to everyone that has already contributed to this effort!
On Friday, Nov. 7, prior to the Warriors vs. Grace Prep Football Game at Bowles Stadium, Liberty Christian will have a Rib & Chili Cook-Off. On behalf of the baseball coaches, players, and fans, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the fathers who attended the Dad’s Work Day.
The Liberty Science Fair is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2009. We will need a panel of judges (both laymen and those with science backgrounds) to interview our 6th, 7th and 8th graders and evaluate their science research.
