On Saturday, February 13, Royal Affairs Ballroom, at 140 E. Main Street in Old Town Lewisville, is hosting an "after dinner" Valentine’s party called "Affair of the Heart." It is for those couples who plan on going to a nice dinner and would like to have entertainment afterwards. It will be from 7 p.m. to midnight and will include a live band, dance floor and cocktails. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time through their link, and are $20 per person. Proceeds from the event will benefit Christian Community Action (CCA). Tickets can also be purchased at the door, but they recommend buying ahead of time due to the crowd expected. Royal Affairs also wanted to showcase the expansion of their ballroom for their guests to see and experience the ambiance and grandness of the facility, fully occupied with all the amenities. The original ballroom included half of the downstairs space, so they decided to fully expand the ballroom to 4000 sq/ft, due to numerous inquiries and requests by previous customers.
