Board requesting input on district goals

The DISD Board of Trustees has recently reviewed and rewritten the comprehensive goals of the Denton Independent School District. These goals serve as the overall platform from which all other planning occurs within the district. The Board currently has the draft of the goals online and is seeking community review and feedback. The goals are divided into a Mission Statement and six goal areas: Vision, teaching and learning, climate, parent and community involvement, human resources and growth and change.
Anyone interested in reviewing the goals and providing input may go to the Denton ISD’s main webpage at www.dentonisd.org. The Board will consider all feedback prior to finalizing the district goals. For additional information, contact the Superintendent’s Office at (940) 369-0004.
