Sixty-two LISD Destination ImagiNation (DI) teams will compete at the 2010 Trinity Valley North Central Destination ImagiNation tournament on March 6 at Coppell High School. Teams will perform from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is free. A silent auction with a large variety of products and services will be open for bids during the tournament. The Flower Mound High School Rosettes will perform the group's annual spring show, titled "A Little Bit of History Repeating," March 4 - 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jack and Donna Clark Auditorium. Advance tickets are $5 for general admission and $10 for reserved seating. Tickets will also be available at the door for $8 (general admission) and $12 (reserved seating).  The Lewisville High School freshmen, junior varsity and varsity cheerleaders won first place at the Texas State Cheerleading Competition on Jan. 24. This is the 10th year the varsity squad won the state championship!

Up Next Marketing will host a golf tournament Feb. 21 at noon at Bridlewood Country Club in Flower Mound to benefit Marcus High School Coach Brenda Jacobs and her family, who lost their belongings in a house fire on Christmas Day. Registration is $125 per person or $500 for a team of four.

     The Flower Mound High School Orchestra Booster Club invites high school students to take a practice PSAT or ACT standardized tests, sponsored by The Princeton Review, Feb. 6 at the school. Students can take the PSAT from 9 - 11:30 a.m. or the ACT from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Registration is $15. A post-test strategy session is Feb. 16 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Flower Mound High School. ??

The Flower Mound High School Baseball program is selling discounted Texas Ranger tickets for the upcoming season. The purchase of these tickets will allow the Jags to play a game at The Ballpark at Arlington.
