Community invited to Destination ImagiNation tournament

Sixty-two LISD Destination ImagiNation (DI) teams will compete at the 2010 Trinity Valley North Central Destination ImagiNation tournament on March 6 at Coppell High School. Teams will perform from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is free. A silent auction with a large variety of products and services will be open for bids during the tournament. FMHS Rosettes to perform spring show

The Flower Mound High School Rosettes will perform the group's annual spring show, titled "A Little Bit of History Repeating," March 4 - 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jack and Donna Clark Auditorium. Advance tickets are $5 for general admission and $10 for reserved seating. Tickets will also be available at the door for $8 (general admission) and $12 (reserved seating). LISD recently received the Award of Merit for Purchasing and Operations from the Texas Association of School Business Officials. This award honors LISD for its commitment to financial responsibility.

The Colony High School Boys and Girls Power Lifting team won first place at the Frisco ISD Invitational. Students Corey Saylor, Josh Morrison and Christine Jordan each won "Outstanding Lifter" in their divisions.

Marcus High School to host percussion concert

The Marcus High School Percussion section will host the annual Spring Percussion Ensemble Concert March 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. LISD Cheer squads take top honors

The Lewisville High School freshmen, junior varsity and varsity cheerleaders won first place at the Texas State Cheerleading Competition on Jan. 24. This is the 10th year the varsity squad won the state championship!

Golf tournament to benefit Marcus coach

Up Next Marketing will host a golf tournament Feb. 21 at noon at Bridlewood Country Club in Flower Mound to benefit Marcus High School Coach Brenda Jacobs and her family, who lost their belongings in a house fire on Christmas Day. Registration is $125 per person or $500 for a team of four.

TCHS Cross Country and Track Booster Club to host invitational
